Welded Bow Spring Casing Centralizer
ASTA bow spring centralizer is designed with very low starting and running force while giving the substantial restoring force. Range from Slip On and Latch On installation model to Welded and Non Welded type with 4 up to 6 number of bow, this product is truly engineered to fit market needs.
Welded type casing centralizer is manufactured through appropriate welding procedure carried out by certified welder which refers to ASME sec. IX. While emphasize on ‘easy to assembly’ characteristic, the products are also available in diversified row heights to cater various casing or open hole configuration.
ASTA bow casing centralizer exhibits the following features:
- Bow springs are made from high quality spring steel, processed in one piece and form by sequential heat treatment resulted in a high strength and high flexibility bow. The bow springs are manufactured carefully to assure that the exact physical properties can be obtained for maximum durability and resilience, hence provide superior performance in all casing-hole size combinations.
- Latch-on bend are made from high strength steel plate and designed with rib cage to obtain enough rigidity. Precise hinge slots will ensure ease of assembling and installation of the interchangeable unit.
- Lock screws are designed to provide the flexibility of installation as well as to hold and fixed the centralizer at desired casing point.
- Hinge pins are made from high strength steel to assure secure bend interconnection.
